Just like its predecessor, Twilight of the Republic, this latest release arrives with Booster and Prerelease Boxes. However, Jump to Lightspeed offers new ways to dive into the Star Wars Trading Card Game with the introduction of Spotlight Decks and Carbonite Edition Boosters. Living up to its name, Jump to Lightspeed immerses fans in the high-stakes world of Star Wars’ ships, pilots, and fleet commanders. It brings fresh Leader cards featuring characters such as Grand Admiral Thrawn and Wedge Antilles, plus legendary starships like the Millennium Falcon, Home One, and The Invisible Hand. You’ll find all the different purchasing options for this new expansion listed below.

Breaking away from tradition, Jump to Lightspeed skips the two-player starter box, opting instead for two pre-packaged decks starring Han Solo and Boba Fett. These Spotlight Decks are currently available as a pair from Miniature Market for $34.99. The mix of cards in the Jump to Lightspeed Booster Packs sticks to the formula of past expansions. Each pack contains nine commons, three uncommons, one rare or legendary, a base or token card, a Leader card, and a foil card of varied rarity.

Jump to Lightspeed is also rolling out a fresh kind of Booster Pack for serious collectors, known as the Carbonite Edition Booster Packs. Although they’re not available for pre-order just yet, these packs will launch at $24.99 each, with display boxes containing 12 packs available for $299.99. They do come at a premium, but each 16-card pack boasts a dazzling selection, featuring alternate art treatments such as foil, Showcase, Hyperspace, and Hyperspace Foil cards. These Carbonite Edition Boosters are a one-time production run, adding to their collector’s value.
