What New Xbox Releases Are You Playing This January?

Happy New Year, everyone! As we kick off 2025, we’re curious to hear which new Xbox games you’re planning to dive into this January. With a slew of standalone titles plus some exciting additions to Xbox Game Pass coming right on their release days, there’s definitely plenty to keep you busy.

Let’s take a look at some of the standout titles hitting shelves this month. Dynasty Warriors: Origins makes its entrance on January 17, and we won’t have to wait long for the follow-up to Ender Lilies, as Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist launches on January 22. Then, getting fans of remastered classics excited, Aspyr Media is set to release Star Wars Episode 1: Jedi Power Battles on January 23. Wrapping up this month’s big releases, Tails of Iron II: Whiskers of Winter scurries onto Xbox on January 28, bringing its charming rodent-filled adventure back to fans.

Xbox Game Pass is also featuring some much-anticipated titles. On January 28, Eternal Strands joins the action-adventure lineup, followed by the adrenaline-pumping Sniper Elite: Resistance on January 30. Rounding out the month, the sci-fi RPG Citizen Sleep 2: Starward Vector lands on January 31.
