This year’s celebration sees the shrines of Sanctuary imbued with extraordinary and bountiful energies, a phenomenon that believers say is a blessing from their Ancestors, joining the festivities from beyond the grave.

As you’re exploring Sanctuary—Nahantu included—activating any Shrine will grant you a whopping 100% bonus experience (which stacks) for two minutes, along with boosted powers, all while you accumulate Ancestral Favor Reputation.

To get the most out of Lunar Awakening, make your way to Ked Bardu, specifically the Northern part of town. Here, you’ll meet Ying-Yue, the leader of the Lunar Night Market. This vibrant market acts as your central hub during the event, where you can redeem your earned Ancestral Favor Reputation for the Unceasing Gifts from the Ancestors caches and adorn your collection with decorative prizes inspired by Lunar Renewal.

Throughout Sanctuary, Lunar Shrines await discovery. Face the challenges in dungeons and the wild wilderness, activating these shrines and defeating monsters to gather substantial Ancestral Favor Reputation.

Lunar Shrines are exuding their formidable aura, blessed by ancestral spirits returning just for Lunar Awakening. This year, the shrines have transformed to honor the year of the snake! Once activated, each shrine grants a 100% experience bonus, and their unique design stands out with a special map icon, making them easy to locate.

These Lunar Shrines come loaded with added effects, offering something new for returning players. Let me break down those enhanced effects for you:

• Artillery Shrine: Casts have the chance to summon a holy bomb.
• Blast Wave Shrine: Each explosion leads to a cluster bombardment.
• Channeling Shrine: Attack speed goes up and there’s a chance to reset cooldowns.
• Conduit Shrine: Summon frequent, electrifying strikes.
• Greed Shrine: Potential to summon a Treasure Goblin, with additional goblins appearing with kills while the shrine is active.
• Lethal Shrine: Possible instant kills on monsters, causing fear in nearby foes. This includes Elites but excludes Bosses and other Players.
• Protection Shrine: Reflect all incoming damage, scaling with your Level and Difficulty.

Immediately upon activating a Lunar Shrine, Miserly Spirits appear, giving you an instant advantage with the shrine’s special powers.
