The player found themselves overwhelmed by an overabundance of what appeared to be Shiny Primal Groudon spawns, completely covering the map and engulfing them. While catching the elusive Shiny Primal Groudon typically requires patience, this particular instance made it look deceptively straightforward. Yet, seasoned players would know this was a classic case of Zorua’s mischief, as it mimics the buddy Pokemon of players, turning the map into a swarm of disguised Zorua posing as Shiny Primal Groudon.

As Pokemon GO players recently marked the Beloved Buddies event, many took to Reddit to share which Pokemon became their Zorua-doppelgangers. Some found themselves encircled by Sylveon, while others were greeted by Santa Hat Pikachu and the impressive Corviknight. Given Zorua’s penchant for disguise, one insightful Reddit user suggested choosing a smaller buddy Pokemon, such as Magikarp, to minimize confusion during Zorua minutes. Another clever player devised a strategy to set Zorua as a buddy, as this helps quickly spot a Shiny Zorua in a crowd of impostors.
