Heads up for all Party Animals fans—if you’re trying to snag those Party Animals achievements while it’s still part of Xbox Game Pass, time is ticking! The developers have announced that the game will be leaving the service come December 31. It’s been celebrated as one of the top picks for family-friendly games on Xbox, so if you’re scouting for a fun experience over the holiday season, don’t miss your chance to dive in before it exits Game Pass!
Party Animals originally made its debut on Game Pass the same day it was released last year. It’s a whimsical, physics-based party game crafted by Recreate Games. Good news for those who’ll miss it on Game Pass: Xbox Game Pass subscribers will enjoy a nifty discount come January. The developers have stated, “Our contract with Xbox Game Pass for Party Animals ends on December 31, 2024. To express our gratitude to our Game Pass fans, we’re offering a 50% discount on the game from January 1 to January 31, 2025, exclusively for XGP members.”
Imagine delightful creatures locked in a charming brawl—that’s Party Animals in a nutshell. The game has seen a slew of updates and partnerships, including a notable crossover with Ori and the Blind Forest, welcoming Ori and Naru into its playful fold.
It’s been over a year since Party Animals joined Xbox Game Pass, so its departure shouldn’t come as a complete surprise. Fortunately, there’s still ample time to chase after those final achievements and savor the game before it bids farewell.
Keep in mind also that Xbox Game Pass is set to lose a total of eight games, including Party Animals, in December, with heavy hitters like Forza Horizon 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider also stepping out from the Game Pass catalog.
