Marvel Snap, the free-to-play card game, has made its return online after being unavailable over the weekend. This disruption came to light when developer Second Dinner announced on Twitter that they were on the hunt for a new publishing partner. The game’s current publisher, Nuverse, operates under the umbrella of ByteDance, which is notably responsible for taking TikTok offline, thereby unintentionally affecting Marvel Snap.
“Marvel Snap is now accessible again in the US,” Second Dinner explained in their post. “To prevent such issues from recurring, we’re taking steps to bring more services internally and find a new publishing partner. This marks the beginning of a fresh chapter for Marvel Snap.”
Understandably, this situation might leave fans with more questions than answers, and the developers acknowledged this by saying, “We understand that this probably raises more questions for you. We value your patience during this time, and while we work on these changes, we hope you’ll continue to enjoy Marvel Snap.”
Rest assured, Second Dinner has committed to keeping players informed, promising, “We’ll share more updates as soon as we have them.”
