Nintendo and The LEGO Group are teaming up once again to bring gamers and LEGO enthusiasts something truly nostalgic: a LEGO Game Boy set, slated for release in October 2025.
Much like their previous collaboration on the LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System, this new set aims to capture the hearts of those who cherish the iconic original handheld gaming device, which impressively sold 118.69 million units worldwide. It’s a fantastic opportunity to relive childhood gaming memories, now with the fun twist of building it brick by brick.
At this point, details remain scarce. What we do have is a brief, 15-second teaser shared across various social media platforms. It’s just enough to whet the appetite, featuring music by composer Rocket Jr., specifically the tune “A Lil BIT,” to set the mood.
This isn’t the first time LEGO has joined forces with Nintendo either. They’ve previously rolled out a slew of sets including the immensely popular LEGO Super Mario series, the endearing LEGO Animal Crossing collections, as well as the intriguing LEGO Super Mario 64 Question Mark Block, the LEGO Great Deku Tree, and the exciting LEGO Mario Kart sets.
So mark your calendars for October 2025, when the LEGO Game Boy set hits stores around the globe, offering yet another chance to merge the world of gaming with the creative joy of LEGO building.
