DodgeCraft is here to push your reflexes to the limit with an exciting new VR sports training experience, now available on Quest and PlayStation VR2. This is the latest creation from the Belfast-based INCISIV Ltd, the same folks who brought you CleanSheet Soccer. DodgeCraft has carved a niche for itself by integrating “fast action with the art of deception,” honing your agility to tackle challenges across various modes. Curious? You can catch a glimpse of it in action below.
The game currently features two thrilling modes. First up is ‘Dodge’Em’, designed to give you a full-body workout as you navigate through a barrage of oncoming meteors, weaving and ducking to avoid them. The second mode, ‘Run the Gauntlet,’ pits you against waves of bots and humanoid opponents equipped with “deceptive maneuvers,” all attempting to make it past you. It even includes mixed reality support to amp up the experience.
In a statement, INCISIV’s CEO, Professor Cathy Craig, shared that DodgeCraft was born from her personal experiences in sports. During her time as an Ulster Rugby out-half, she often struggled with fully committing to tackles. She explained, “As a player, I frequently hesitated, holding back from making the tackle. DodgeCraft provides an excellent way to practice anticipating and making decisive defensive moves without the fear of injury. Essentially, it allows you to train effectively without the pain!”
For those keen to dive in, DodgeCraft is currently available on the Meta Quest platform and PlayStation VR2.
As a side note, this article first hit the press on December 10, 2024. With the release of a new trailer, it saw an update on February 13, 2025, coinciding with the PlayStation VR2 edition launch.
