Winterfest 2024 has arrived in Fortnite, and it’s brimming with gifts and surprises, running all the way until Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
This annual holiday event is a favorite among players, offering new outfits, including some free skins, cosmetics, emotes, and quests. However, what makes everyone eager are the free rewards you can snag just by opening a gift in the cozy cabin!
Allow me to guide you through all the presents and gifts available during Winterfest 2024 in Fortnite, and I’ll also provide some tips on which gifts you might want to prioritize opening first.
You’ll find a total of 14 gifts waiting for you at the beginning of Winterfest 2024, with another special one being added later. To grab your rewards, simply click on the snowflake icon at the top of the main menu, head to the “Visit Lodge” button, and tear open a gift in the cabin to reveal what’s inside! You’re limited to opening one present per day, so be sure to log in every day over the 14-day period to ensure you collect all the goodies.

Now, you might be wondering which present is worth opening first this season. Here’s a little nugget of advice: although the Yulejacket outfit is labeled as “Save for last,” don’t let that message lead you astray. You can actually nab this outfit as early as the eighth day, but only if you focus on opening all the gifts on the left side of the cabin first.
If you’re eager to don the Yulejacket outfit right away, then prioritize unwrapping the gifts on the left! On the other hand, if the Santa Dogg outfit is what you’re after, make your way to the gift stationed in the center of the cabin.
Not too keen on the outfits? No worries—the choice is all yours! If you get a kick out of the Fortnite Festival, maybe reach for the wrapped vinyl or one of those musical instruments. For the cosmetic enthusiasts, zoom in on Snoop Dogg’s back bling, grab the pickaxe, or soar with the Peppermint Paraglider.
Correction (Dec. 27): In an earlier version of this article, the process for obtaining the Yulejacket outfit was incorrectly described. We’ve since updated it to provide the correct information.
