Counter-Strike 2 has once again soared to the top of the Steam charts this week, edging out Monster Hunter Wilds from its previous lead position.
Capcom’s action-packed RPG, which slipped to second place, has already impressively sold over eight million copies since launching. Making an exciting entrance in third place is Split Fiction, the new cooperative adventure from Hazelight and Electronic Arts. Released on March 6th, this game set a new milestone for Hazelight by selling one million copies within just the first 48 hours.
Meanwhile, REPO climbed a spot to secure fourth place, whereas Valve’s Steam Deck hardware experienced a slight drop, falling two spots to land in fifth. PUBG: Battlegrounds also slipped two positions but still managed to outperform Rainbow Six Siege. Interestingly, Ubisoft’s tactical shooter surged up four spots, now sitting in seventh place. This upswing in interest is likely fueled by the anticipation of a new edition, Rainbow Six Siege X, expected to launch later this year to celebrate the game’s tenth anniversary.
In a surprising climb, NCSoft and Amazon’s MMO, Throne and Liberty, rocketed up 39 spots due to the release of its latest expansion, Wilds of Talandre, placing it in eighth. Bad Guitar Studio’s team shooter, Fragpunk, made its debut at ninth. Rounding out the list, Marvel Rivals slipped down four positions, concluding the top ten.
