Back in July, “Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable” made its debut in Early Access on the Quest platform, offering players a taste of what’s to come with a single mission and a selection of blades to unlock. At the time, the developers at UNIVRS hinted there would be more content rolling out over the next few months. Now, fans can dive into the ‘Complete Edition,’ which has been upgraded to include four full chapters.
When we first tried the game in July, it felt somewhat like a tech demo. While it gave us a glimpse into the core gameplay, it was limited to just one chapter and featured an endless wave mode paired with a scoreboard for competitive players.
With the Complete Edition now available, Part One invites players back to explore all-new experiences. You can dive into chapters three and four, discover the Epilogue, and face off against the formidable Armored Titan boss.
For an added twist, co-op gameplay has been introduced, allowing players to team up and tackle all the chapters together, enhancing the sense of camaraderie and strategy.
In tandem with the Complete Edition launch, UNIVRS is tantalizing fans with the announcement of a ‘Thunder Spear Unlock Event’ set for January, described as a “global challenge.” Plus, they’re already planning a free update to arrive in 2025, as noted on the game’s website.
Initially, our first impression of the game was that it had some rough edges. Yet, it seems to have struck a chord with the community. As of now, “Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable” holds an impressive rating of 4.5 out of 5 on the Horizon Store.
For those who purchased the Early Access version, Part 2 can be downloaded at no additional cost. Newcomers can choose to purchase Part 1 for $8, Part 2 for $12 (with Part 1 required), or both together for a bundled price of $20. The game is compatible with Quest 2, Quest 3/S, and Quest Pro headsets.
