Fortnite enthusiasts have a new opportunity to snag some free cosmetics, namely the Vanguard Zadie outfit. To unlock this prize, players must level up their accounts by 50 levels by June 7. Additionally, dedicated players can showcase their skills and earn emblems based on their top ranks in various game modes, while competitive gamers can strive to earn the coveted Elite Zadie outfit in April’s special tournaments.
Exciting times are unfolding in Fortnite’s world with the recent unveiling of Season 3 in the popular Reload mode, featuring a fresh map reminiscent of Chapter 2. This continues a trend where players have been treated to a slew of free cosmetic items. For instance, players recently had a chance to grab a free skin of Dupli-Kate, a character from the Invincible comic series. While this particular promotion has ended, fans were still able to purchase cosmetics for another beloved character, Allen the Alien, through the Item Shop, and Dupli-Kate briefly became available for purchase after the free event.
Fans eager to grab the Vanguard Zadie outfit will need to hustle. Upon reaching 15 levels, players receive the Zadie’s Blade pickaxe. Hitting 30 levels grants them Zadie’s Blade back bling. Manage to climb all 50 levels, and the exclusive skin is theirs. However, these quests are time-sensitive, so logging in by May 6 is a must to participate.
While collecting free cosmetics is a thrill, some players might want even more by earning emblems that pair perfectly with the Vanguard Zadie outfit. These emblems are earned by achieving high ranks in popular Fortnite game modes like Battle Royale and Zero Build, among others. For the ambitious, Epic Games is hosting the Elite Zadie Cups on April 26 and 27, offering a shot at the Elite Zadie outfit. All these extras might hit the Item Shop later, too.
Fortnite continues to draw in its loyal fan base with not just new gameplay updates but with intriguing crossovers. Recently, the crossover buzz centered around Mortal Kombat, as Fortnite players could grab themed cosmetics through Twitch Drops. Featuring iconic characters like Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Raiden, and others, both free and purchasable bundles kept players engaged. With so much in the pipeline, fans are buzzing with excitement for Fortnite’s future, anticipating even more rewards and content in the coming months.
