Star Overdrive Added to This Week’s EShop Lineup

This week’s lineup on the Nintendo Switch eShop is brimming with exciting new releases. As we eagerly anticipate the arrival of the Switch 2, now just a mere seven weeks away, a steady stream of fresh titles continues to pour in for the original Switch. Among the highlights this week is an action-packed adventure game titled Star Overdrive.

In Star Overdrive, players embark on a thrilling journey across an alien world, navigating on a hoverboard while solving intricate puzzles and battling fierce adversaries. Developed by the indie group Caracal Games, which comprises a tight-knit team of 12 creative minds, this isn’t their first venture on the eShop. However, Star Overdrive marks their debut feature in a Nintendo Direct presentation. Published by Plug In Digital, known for their enigmatic game Mindcop from last year, this title blends fast-paced action with platformer elements and a third-person perspective, making it one to look out for.

This week also sees the addition of new music on Nintendo Music. Luigi’s Mansion now graces the collection, enhancing the library with its haunting melodies. Plus, there are some enticing sales, offering discounts on a variety of games ranging from Mario + Rabbids to South Park and more.
