The anticipation for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is building as the countdown on the series’ website creeps closer to hitting zero later today. Adding fuel to the fire, a well-known leaker has supposedly disclosed the game’s release date along with some enticing details about the available editions.
This revelation follows last month’s discovery of a rating for THPS 3 + 4 on the Singaporean Infocomm Media Development Authority’s website. The source of this juicy leak is Billbil-kun, who has a reliable history of accurate information.
According to the leak, fans can expect Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 to launch on July 11. That gives you about four months to prepare for some exhilarating ollies and (hopefully fewer) embarrassing wipeouts.
On top of that, Billbil-kun suggests the game will be released in three editions: standard, deluxe, and collector’s. The latter two are rumored to offer three days of early access. Pricing is said to be set at $49.99, $69.99, and $129.99 respectively.
Some perks of the deluxe edition have also been leaked, which should excite Doom enthusiasts. Expect to see Doom slayer and revenant skaters, a hoverboard styled like the Unmaykr, and additional music tracks. Those who pre-order will reportedly receive a Wireframe Tony shader and access to a demo featuring Foundry, the first level from THPS 3.
All this speculation will be put to the test later today at 6PM GMT/1PM ET/10AM PT when the official countdown ends. For now, though, the prospects seem promising.
