Plus, we’re doubling the excitement with our Anniversary Event, packed with even more community-driven content and the unveiling of the Mythic R-301. Make sure you mark your calendars—Apex Legends: Takeover goes live on February 11.
### Creator Commissioners
Throughout the season, four different Creator Commissioners will each take the spotlight for a two-week stretch, bringing along their unique challenges and a blend of new and returning fan-favorite modes, along with exciting rewards. During the first week, team up with other players to complete Community challenges, which will influence the number of Apex Packs available in the following week.
The second week is when the real challenge kicks in. Tackle a series of five unique challenges to unlock a Legendary weapon skin chosen by the creator, along with the Apex Packs you’ve been eyeing. Remember, participating in the first week doesn’t automatically reap the rewards for the second, so jump into matches again to claim your prizes.
### Creator Commissioners and their Legendary Picks:
– February 25 – March 10, 2025: Ninjayla brings the Wingman’s Death Ray Legendary skin.
– March 11 – 24, 2025: Oraxe introduces the Kraber’s The Pioneer Legendary skin.
– April 1–14, 2025: Apryze rolls out the Mastiff’s Bone Breaker Legendary skin.
– April 15 – 28, 2025: Kaminari Kyupi unveils the Mastiff’s Tombstick Legendary skin.
### Arsenals
Arsenals are the latest addition to Battle Royale, giving players consistent access to weapons and ammo of their choice. These stations are sprinkled across all Points of Interest on each map, with fixed spots but varied ammo types per match.
Within Arsenals, you’ll find not just ammo but also the ability to upgrade your weapons. Each arsenal can upgrade one weapon that matches its ammo type, enhancing it with an upgraded attachment and adding an optic if it’s missing one. When bins reset, Arsenals do too, offering you the chance to upgrade once more with even higher power. Ammo amounts also get a significant boost after a reset.
### Meta Changes
This season brings a wave of fresh meta updates worth diving into right away. All weapon classes have been fine-tuned to compete strongly with Assault Rifles, and time-to-kill has been reduced thanks to tweaks across weapons, Armor, Helmets, and headshot multipliers. Legends themselves are getting exciting updates: expect handy new perks for the Assault class, with Ash and Ballistic receiving special attention. Plus, we’ve refined regen items to ensure you hold your own in these revamped combat situations.
### Legend Spotlight Passes
With the new Legend Spotlight Pass, complete challenges to hone your skills with a potential new Legend. Progress through twenty levels and aim for the ultimate reward—a Legendary skin pack for that Legend. Each season, you can purchase one per Legend in the in-game store, and it will unlock the Legend if you haven’t already.
Remember, the Takeover officially kicks off on February 11, 2025. Join in and revel in the lively new season crafted with you in mind.
