For the first time on British shores, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which has delighted over 46 million gamers worldwide since its debut in March 2020, is joining forces with SEA LIFE UK for a fascinating live experience. This collaboration invites visitors to explore the wonders of marine life alongside some of Animal Crossing’s beloved characters.

The adventure begins at SEA LIFE Manchester on February 8, 2025, before making its way to SEA LIFE Birmingham, SEA LIFE Brighton, SEA LIFE London, and SEA LIFE Chessington World of Adventures Resort, promising a captivating experience for both SEA LIFE enthusiasts and Animal Crossing fans.

An Engaging, Immersive Experience

SEA LIFE UK, part of Merlin Entertainments—the world’s second-largest leisure group—is perfectly suited to host this unique experience. Boasting themed zones that range from the Atlantic and Arctic to tropical rainforests, SEA LIFE offers a deep dive into a world of diverse marine environments teeming with thousands of sea creatures.

Catherine Pritchard, General Manager at SEA LIFE London Aquarium, expressed her excitement: "We are overjoyed to provide this unique experience across several of our SEA LIFE locations. Guests can embark on a journey with characters from Animal Crossing: New Horizons while surrounded by our magnificent marine life, from Green Sea Turtles to Zebra Sharks, creating an enriching and entertaining outing for families and friends."

Activities and Character Interactions

Guided tours through the ‘Sea Life Islands’ will allow visitors to meet island residents such as Aurora and Octavian while discovering an array of marine life. Engage in a fossil dig to unveil the ancestors of today’s ocean dwellers, and embark on a quest to find Gulliver washed ashore.

As part of the experience, visitors can collect character stamps, learn intriguing facts about SEA LIFE’s residents, and meet iconic characters like Tom Nook and Isabelle. Fans can even take home a piece of the adventure by purchasing Animal Crossing: New Horizons memorabilia at the aquarium shop.
